Full Compass seeks a talented and experienced Web Designer to help craft responsive websites and digital solutions. Experience working with eComm sites preferred. This individual should be motivated to create innovative solutions, do well in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable interfacing with project managers, web developers, merchandising and sales. A successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into forward thinking, functional designs.

Duties:

  • Conceptualize responsive designs for a variety of target audience landing pages, brand pages, product pages, informational pages, blogs, eblasts…essentially anything digital. 
  • Execute all creative stages from concept to taking it live online. 
  • Bring the project through creative to final hand-off to the Development Team for implementation. 
  • Create PSDs or working files for the Development Team to reference during their build. 
  • Follow in-house design guidelines, best practices and standards. 
  • Present and defend designs and key deliverables to marketing and stakeholders 
  • Incorporate design direction and feedback from marketing and stakeholders. 
  • Work with stakeholders to design solutions that are effective in engaging specific target markets. 
  • Design for SEO. Work collaboratively and be jazzed about continually improving the user experience online.
  • 4 or more years of experience as a web designer 
  • Design skills with a strong portfolio 
  • Experience with responsive design 
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS 
  • Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
