AC Business Media is looking for a Web & CopyEditor for the Food Logistics and Supply and Demand Chain Executive properties.

Overall Job Duties:

  • Maintain the publications’ online presence
  • Research, develop and post content for weekly e-newsletters, online exclusives, press releases, including securing photos to accompany content
  • Assist senior editors with research and development of content for print magazine, including the identification of photos to accompany content
  • Serve as lead coordinator for the publications’ annual awards, including front- and back-end submission process, notifying award winners via email and responding to applicants’ inquiries
  • Adhere to publications’ standards for editorial excellence and integrity, including quality of editorial content, design and layout
  • Copy edit all editorial content (produced in-house and from freelancers) for print and online
  • Proofread editorial copy prior to publication online and in print; assist during production process
  • Incorporate all edits into InDesign and BASE (ACBM’s CMS platform)
  • Work with senior editors to produce and post podcasts and video content online
  • Work with senior editors as needed on ad hoc projects, including custom publications, client surveys and advertorials
  • Co-manage LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts for FL and SDCE

Requirements:

  • Editing: 1 year, college coursework will be considered
  • Four-year degree with major or significant coursework in journalism, English or communication
  • Strong writing skills and knowledge of AP Style required
  • Basic photography or videography skills a plus
  • Writing samples requested
