The video producer coordinates various aspects of video production, including managing logistics through the lifecycle of the project. They work closely with the account management team to define the scope and requirements for productions and monitor each project closely to ensure budgets and deadlines are being met. This role is critical to the efficient operation of video productions within EPIC.

The producer role is also one that requires flexibility and the ability to contribute to videography and editing needs as necessary. Regular travel is to be expected.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages all stages of production 
  • Location research and scouting 
  • Scheduling video shoots 
  • Ensuring proper equipment is secured for video shoot 
  • Traveling to locations for video production 
  • Manage studio video shoots 
  • Interviewing subject matter(s) in a professional and informed manner 
  • Ensures industry standards are being executed properly 
  • Produces multiple projects at the same time 
  • Works with clients helping them throughout the entire process 
  • Schedules projects, coordinating crews and equipment 
  • Manages budgets and keeping a close eye on what was estimated

Secondary Responsibilites:

  • Videography
  • Ability to shoot on a variety of cameras / equipment
  • Stay up to date with relevant and industry technology trends
  • Available to shoot on location and in studio
  • Editing
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Light Room, and Adobe After Effects
  • Three or more years of related experience in videography and producing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Familiarity with multiple formats and platforms, including gear support
  • Ability to work with many different groups of people and clients
  • Efficient computer skills
  • Photography skills a plus
