Video Art Director (Social, Beauty)

Looking for Video Art Director or Conceptual Designer with Video Experience to work at state-of-the-art photo studio. National brand, retail, fashion or beauty experience preferred. But will look at all conceptual portfolios with video experience. 

Aquent's Fortune 500 Retail client is looking for a Video Art Director or Conceptual Designer with Video Experience to work at their state-of-the-art Photo Studio. This is an ongoing contract role, around 40 hours a week. This person would be directing video content only. No still photography. Would work closely with videographer and producer. Responsible for Storyboard development, script writing, and on-set video art direction. Should have experience directing or creating social videos for Facebook, YouTube and instagram. Ideal candidate would have experience or background with social + beauty/fashion. At agency or In-House at Large company preferred. Looking for on-trend portfolios showing video/digital work, and experience working with photographers and videographer Must understand Branding, Photoshoots, Social Media, Retail, Concepting. Main video software program will be After Effects.

• Portfolio showing Video Examples/Video Reel, or conceptual design or art director work
• Past experience as Art Director, Videographer or Sr. Videographer a tAgency or InHouse, National Brands or Fortune 100/500 accounts
• Strong conceptual skills, ability to StoryBoard, Script Writing and on set Direction
• Experience with National Brand's Social Media accounts a plus
