Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Marketing Communications Manager, the Sr. Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support promotions, events, product launches, programs and campaigns across business functions and throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Unit Leadership and their teams to create annual marketing plans including promotions, events, product launches, programs and other initiatives. 
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering and Sales on new product development, working closely to plan and execute all product launches. 
  • Coordinate with Product Specialist teams in the development and creation of strategic sales tools that establish clear market positions for each product and aide in the execution of the annual sales plan. 
  • Create media plans for each business unit and manage the team to implement advertising programs targeted towards both the end user and the Dealership channel. 
  • Manage promotions, events, product launches, programs, campaigns and other initiatives to ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. 
  • Maintain a consistent message and image to convey our brand positions in literature, events, websites and all other marketing collateral.

Essential Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred. Bachelor’s degree in other majors with a strong marketing academic background accepted.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with exposure to B2B marketing 
  • Prior experience working across multiple company functions preferred 
  • Experience at a marketing agency is strongly preferred, agricultural experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated project management skills with internal and external teams 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, can approach people proactively, can train/coach 
  • Able to quickly adapt to a fast changing environment 
  • Customer focused and team oriented 
  • Self-driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Proven ability to influence others without direct authority

Supervisory Responsibility:

No direct supervisory duties, though management of projects includes directing project related activities of the project team members.

Travel:

The position requires up to 25% travel. Frequently travel is outside of the local area and overnight.
