Fast Horse — an award-winning, integrated creative agency — is hiring a Social Media Strategist to contribute to strategy, ideation, execution and reporting for social platforms across multiple clients. The ideal candidate has two to five years of experience managing social programs, developing and executing social influencer partnerships, writing, creating and/or directing the creation of social content, and reporting results.

We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding of social platforms, a strong desire to understand everything about a client’s business and their audiences, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. You’ll be a creator, advisor and partner both internally and with clients.

The position requires strong communication skills, analytical skills, knowledge of social platforms and an interest in content creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing social strategies for clients under the leadership of the Social Media Director 
  • Contributing to social planning and content creation for clients; including leading meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and advising clients on best practices 
  • Brainstorming and planning social influencer programs as well as researching, vetting, creating relationships with and managing influencer partnerships 
  • Managing content creation for Fast Horse’s social platforms, bringing to life the Fast Horse brand across multiple touchpoints 
  • Brainstorming creative ideas and approaches for social as well as other integrated marketing disciplines 
  • Partnering with designers, photographers and copywriters to create content based on social strategy and planning 
  • Managing social channels for clients, sometimes including copywriting and community management 
  • Reporting results to clients on a regular cadence based on KPIs determined in strategy work 
  • Educating clients and team members on the latest social trends and technology 
  • Participating in agency marketing and new business efforts
