Serve as Baird’s social media thought leader and senior expert.

Manage Baird’s overall business development and brand building efforts by identifying, recommending and pursuing key social media and digital communications campaigns and efforts tied directly to Baird’s business goals.

Develop, execute, and drive social media strategy for Baird, business units, departments and thought leaders.

Manage the development and execution of firm-wide social media education for firm stakeholders and associates as well as clients; providing tutorials, best practices, status updates, special events, and expertise.

Manage working partnership with Compliance, Legal and Risk Management to ensure Baird social media remains compliant and all departments are working with one common goal.

Partner with Human Resources to assess, drive, and plan recruiting and talent acquisition strategy through the use of digital hiring opportunities.

Lead/manage the coordination and partnership of Baird’s third party vendors and agencies including strategy, analysis, contracts, RFP processes, and budget and Finance discussions.

Manage Baird’s social media properties: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Vimeo, Google+, and Instagram:

Draft and plan social editorial content, campaigns, creative, etc.

Schedule social publishing calendar to plan proper timing and execution of content

Capture monthly metrics to measure engagement, growth and forecast success

Oversee the selection and drives the strategy of Baird’s social media Thought Leaders on Twitter

Manage Baird’s blog, bullandbaird.com and corresponding social strategy

Serve as Baird’s primary Community Manager, closely monitoring social media activity and preparing for commenting escalation (if needed) and fan engagement.

Identify, recommend and execute social media opportunities for various projects throughout the firm including but not limited to annual FORTUNE submission, firm sponsorships and events, Annual Report, Baird Associate Resource Groups, and third-party partnerships.

Serve as digital PR liaison for media relationships via social media, assessing media inquiries and recommending ultimate appropriate action to Public Relations team.

Partner with members of Marketing & Communications department to effectively create integrated marketing campaigns.

Manage key relationships with Baird’s business leaders and administration to ensure proper strategy is being delivered and tailored for each business.

Works to develop and implement Baird’s global social media strategy in an energetic, team oriented environment.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business technology, journalism or related discipline.

Experience managing social media campaigns or programs for businesses; this includes managing Facebook business pages or Twitter streams, YouTube channels, business blogs, etc.

Strong written communication skills, with specific understanding of the unique requirements of writing for social media channels.

Requires a flexible, creative thinker with the initiative, passion and drive to get things done.Ability to work weekends, late nights and have flexible schedule.

In-depth knowledge of social media space and passion for keeping current in this quickly changing arena.

Working knowledge of best practices in SEO and social media optimization.

Strong knowledge of User Interface, Digital Design, Google Analytics Best Practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment that requires constant change and adaptability.

Strong cross-team and customer communication and relationship management skills.
