Layer One Media is looking for a Project Manager with strong project experience to track and lead projects, working with employees and clients on a daily basis to meet deadlines and budgets. The right candidate will know how to push both external clients and internal employees to keep projects moving forward.

A Project Manager is responsible for developing project plans, timelines and estimates with employee support, then driving the projects forward to meet those established parameters. The Project Manager needs to communicate with clients to meet objectives and set expectations, while also understanding how to listen to clients and employees to gain their support and buy-in on a project.

To be considered, a candidate for the Project Manager position should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Web industry, including agency experience
  • 4+ years project management experience managing web or software development applications
  • Experience with a full SDLC and the various roles of a full software build
  • Account management experience
  • Experience writing project documents such as timelines, proposals and estimates
  • A focus on deadlines and budgets - demonstrated proficiency in project planning
  • Meticulous and organized preventing things falling through the cracks
  • A demonstrated process / approach for managing projects - candidates must be able to speak intelligently about how they have managed projects in the past and how they plan to manage projects in the future
