Purpose and Scope:

Develop and manage marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for the International and Independent Framing channels. Responsible for the company's branding strategies and objectives. Develop brand and trade marketing initiatives.

Expected Outcomes/Job Functions:

Leadership

  1. Build and maintain a strong Independent Framing Marketing team 
  2. Lead and mentor Independent Framing Marketing team members to drive continuous improvement and development 
  3. Provide thought leadership for the Sales and Marketing team 
  4. Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other departments 
  5. Develop and leverage strong positive relationships with key customers 
  6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with trade groups and publications

Brand Strategy & Oversight

  1. Responsible for company branding and trademarks 
  2. Ensure communications, packaging and marketing collateral supports branding initiatives 
  3. Ensure the integrity of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system 
  4. Responsible for Tru Vue's website's design and maintenance 
  5. Managing a marketing mix inclusive of digital marketing and trade publications

Planning & Execution

  1. Develop and execute the marketing plan based on company strategies, competitive assessments and market analytics 
  2. Lead competitive assessments and monitor and report industry changes 
  3. Drive market analytics 
  4. Conduct regular product line evaluations and market analysis 
  5. Manage third-party vendors, including agencies, fulfillment services and the call center 
  6. Ensures flawless execution of merchandising, promotional plans and programs 
  7. Responsible for driving insights on category trends, framers and consumers

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business curriculum, concentration in Marketing. MBA is preferred. 
  2. 5+ years of comprehensive demonstrated successful B2B marketing experience. 
  3. Capacity to think strategically and tactically with strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
  4. Demonstrated experience in development, execution and evaluation of packaging 
  5. Minimum of 3 years as a positive leader, motivator, manager, and developer of people in a marketing leadership role. 
  6. Must have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. 
  7. Project management skills with the ability effectively organize and manage multiple priorities 
  8. Strong skills in leadership, communication, initiative, decisiveness, and planning and organization 
  9. Ability to provide leadership through effective communication, work ethic and personal excellence. 
  10. Experience in developing and deploying new product introductions, programs and initiatives 
  11. Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  12. Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment 
  13. 10-15% travel including trade shows and market visits
