The Senior Marcoms Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for the day to day running of the Marketing Communications Dept.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Own the Nilfisk Brand in the Americas and actively promote Nilfisk brand awareness through messaging and positioning throughout the Americas floor care and industrial cleaning market,

Working with stakeholders across the organization, Implement and administer the Marketing Promotional Review Process ensuring that all Marketing Materials and Tools are consistent with the Brand and Messaging Standards.

Responsible for Public Relations and promoting Nilfsk’s Products and Services within the Americas.

Utilize Market Research and Insights to ensure that the Nilfisk Floorcare Brands are correctly positioned within their respective markets and measure the effectiveness of each brand.

Manage the Marketing Communications Function including the following:

  • Creation and Development of Product Literature working closely with Global Marketing and Americas Markets. 
  • Creation and Development of Sales Tools working closely with the Sales Organization to understand their needs and requirements. 
  • Creation, development and implementation of Digital Tools and Media 
  • Trade Shows and Sales meetings and be responsible for measuring return on investment.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred 
  • 5+ years Marketing and/or Brand Management 
  • Experience running marketing campaigns 
  • Knowledge and comfort with Industrial customers and markets 
  • Experience of dealer sales and indirect sales channels

Desired Experiences/Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated ability in developing Marketing strategies to grow market share and increase end user demand 
  • High degree of customer and external market focus 
  • Experience of working with Agencies and Vendors 
  • Strong analytical, project and change management skills 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills 
  • Bilingual English-Spanish (desirable) 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively create and manage Brand Plans 
  • Experience in influencing others in the organization and demonstrating empathy 
  • A Passion for making a difference

Travel Requirements:

  • Job requires approximately 20% travel.
