The Senior Graphic Designer position will serve as a lead designer within the Club–working closely with the Director of Creative Design & Strategy, Senior Manager of Marketing and the rest of the Creative team to develop the overall look for the Club and be a caretaker of the Brewers brand through project design across the entire organization.

Primarily, the position will support consumer marketing and ticket sales efforts through the design of forward thinking creative graphic elements that maintain the continuity of the brand across the entire marketing mix. This position will also work interdepartmentally with other areas such as New Media, Special Events, Retail Merchandising, Food & Beverage, Media Relations, etc.

The Senior Graphic Designer serves as a point person and a leading team player who understands the importance of strong communication skills and adhering to tight deadlines. Creativity, hard work, positive attitude, strong attention to detail, dedication, and the ability to effectively delegate, are musts.

Annually review and enhance/develop the brand identity and season-long look for the Club.

Responsible for the overall design/production of marketing, advertising and branding (such as, but not limited to):

  • Digital Advertising
  • Social Media
  • Print
  • Outdoor
  • Direct Mail
  • Signage
  • In-Stadium Graphics
  • Promotional Items/Packaging
  • Collateral/Ticket Books/Parking Passes
  • Other projects as assigned

Work alongside Director of Creative Design & Strategy, Senior Manager of Marketing and Motion Graphics Designer to refine and produce annual TV campaign

Foster strong working relationships with printers, vendors, agencies, and team photographer

Assist with planning and execution of photo/video shoots

Work well with Director of Creative Design & Strategy, Senior Manager of Marketing,Creative team, Senior Director of Marketing, VP of Marketing & Business Strategy, andother Club employees

Attend meetings as it relates to marketing and advertising strategies for the organization

Serve as a lead on special design projects for the Club

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be highly creative, possess strong initiative and be detail-oriented
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Ability to delegate and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept knowledge of baseball and/or sports.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts and/or related field along with 3-5 years of experience in same field

Computer Skills:

  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Exceptional ability with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is necessary
  • Basic digital animation experience/knowledge a plus, but not required

Work Hours:

Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm; however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays as the project workload dictates.
