We seek an experienced pro with a minimum of three to five years of graphic design experience in a corporate or agency environment. Desired skills include concepting, design, layout and production. Hybrid capabilities in both traditional (print and tradeshow/event) and digital design are a must. Experience with digital design software and basic Web design a definite plus. In addition, we seek a candidate with:
- The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Wordpress and responsive design/websites
- Understanding of Web and social media design and development
- Ability to lead and manage an in-studio or location photo or video shoot
- Expert knowledge of print pre-press and the printing processes
- Experience with video shooting, editing and final production
- Effective communication and time management
- Demonstrable personal and client interaction traits
- Polished presentation skills
Attention to every detail and file accuracy is a must. Expertise in Mac-based graphic and computer programs, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is expected. Be prepared to illustrate your abilities and range of experiences with samples of the work you've done along with your role in getting each completed. Finalists may be asked to demonstrate their computer proficiency and conceptual skills prior to an offer being made.
In addition, at times you may be asked to execute or manage production-related activites, including reviews, updates and changes to existing files for work you may have initially designed or that was designed by others. You must be comfortable with balancing conceptual and high-level design work with tactical production duties.
This is not a beginner's position. Those possessing a beginner-level skillset will not be considered. Only candidates with or exceeding the minimal qualifications will be reviewed and potentially contacted for further discussion.
