This is a brand new position within our company. We are in search of a digital strategist to maintain and develop our suite of websites, as well as discover, review, and analyze our digital media partners. This individual will work in conjunction with the both the executive and dealership teams, to increase and strengthen our digital initiatives. The ideal candidate must have a proactive personality, and have a true passion for digital marketing.

Website Management 

  • Ability to assist with any technical issues regarding the websites 
  • Well verse in the functionality of each website and what our limitations consist of 
  • Careful eye for detail on how to improve the user experience 
  • Develop ways to measure if tools benefit or hinder the user experience 

Search Engine Marketing

  • Constantly working with Digital Marketing Manger to make adjustments to campaigns 
  • Work to align campaigns with current dealership goals 
  • Review new opportunities for vendors Develop goal setting metrics and measurement reporting 

Messaging 

  • Develop a plan to ensure cohesivemessaging through all forms of advertising 

Vendor Selection

  • Continually seek new and better vendors of current products and new products 
  • Develop solid relationships with current vendors and lean on them for additional support/learning opportunities 
  • Develop processes for holding vendors accountable on a monthly basis 
  • Develop processes to weight the overall strength and benefit provided by our vendors. 

Reporting

  • Develop reporting to show trends/numbers in ways that are easy for all to understand 
  • Seek out under performing vendors and develop a performance plan 
  • Search for the best ways to relay data to the stores, work with Jr. Digital Specialist to obtain that info and present to stores on a regular basis 

Dealership Assistance

  • Provide general digital assistance for dealerships 
  • Develop a schedule to visits to stores routinely 
  • Goal Setting: Develop goal setting metrics for each dealership 

Google Analytics/AdWords

  • Develop customized analytics reporting directly related to our AdWords campaigns. 
  • Deep dive into where traffic is coming from, what is the best converting 
  • Routinely verify that the data in Google Analytics matches the data provided by the vendors and matches the data available in CRM 

Social Media

  • Help to develop and overall social strategy for each store 
  • Create ad campaigns, monitor analytics, present info to stores at a level they can understand 
  • Develop a stronger presence for social media outside of just Facebook
  • 5-8 years of experience in similar role 
  • Marketing/Digital/IT Degree 
  • Highly organized 
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics 
  • Strong understanding of Google AdWords Campaigns
