Senior Content Specialist - PR

bader rutter

There’s so much noise, in so many channels, it’s difficult to catch what your customers are saying — let alone respond to and connect with them. While the rest of the world is busy trying to catch up to the conversation and trying to be all things to all people in all spaces, we’re focused on making connections that make your brand relevant, timely and unforgettable.

We don’t have some convoluted, trademarked, off-the-shelf solution. We have us — and we get results. We’re relentlessly curious. Intensely collaborative. And undeniably human.

Yes, we have everything you’d expect a full-service agency to have. Planners and buyers and producers and creatives. Account people, accounting people and people to hold people accountable. We’ve got traditional, digital, content, social and direct. We’re B2B, B2C and B2B2C.

So what makes us different? How can we connect your brand with your customers? It’s simple. Nobody else has Sarah Kmet-Hunt, Patrick Smith or Colleen Grams. Or the 240-plus other creative people who make Bader Rutter, BR.

You love making things happen, we know. You’re excellent at mixing owned, paid and earned opportunities to drive public relations programs to success. You’re great at building relationships with clients and content subject matter experts. That’s why we want you as our newest senior content specialist in public relations. You love when your accounts are fast-paced — even better if they’re in the green industry. Your journalism or communication background means you’re great with writing and becoming the subject matter expert on your industries. You’re eager to help drive the strategy development, ideation and planning processes for your client. But enough about you. What about us? We’ve been called a Top Workplace, the largest independent marketing agency in Wisconsin, a place to grow a career and oh, yeah, that place with the new river view.

Should we meet? Contact us and let’s talk about your proactive, collaborative work style and your passion for accuracy.

Here’s why we want you:

  • You have three to five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications.
  • You’re great at the collaborative stuff — you work well with team members, clients and vendors.
  • You can write, develop and craft a great story and deliver it across all channels from trade articles to blog posts, tweets to Google campaigns.
  • You love learning and seek to master new industry knowledge. No task is too small, you understand PR pros sweat the small stuff, too.
  • You’re on top of content trends and want to continue to grow and develop your career.

DOE.
