Results Driven Media Relations Agency Enlisting New Recruits

Moon Landing has an immediate need for a senior account executive who is a strong communicator with a proven track record for writing press releases, blogs, articles, and social posts. Candidate must also have experience in sharing these pieces with the world and bringing the work to life. You must be process driven, self motivated, entrepreneurial, and have a zeal for results.

This PR or Media Relations rockstar will join an “all hands on deck” minded team that prioritizes results over job titles. From developing national brand strategies to executing comprehensive communications campaigns and plans .. no job is too big, or too small, for members of our team. You’ll fit in here if you can learn quickly, create the structures you need to get things accomplished, and like to see client succeed. That being said, no matter your tasks, you’ll be responsible for collaborating in digital and media relations platforms, sharing the results of your work early and often, seeking feedback and guidance from others, and documenting what you do so others can learn from your successes and your mistakes.

Submission Criteria for this Position:

1. You must have written press releases that were picked up by national media outlets.

2. You must have pitched reporters, media outlets or publications successfully.

3. You must have worked in public relations, media relations or in a communications capacity for a company or agency.

Our ideal candidates will have:

• 3 - 5 years agency or internal communication team experience 
• At least 2-3 years of proven client / account / brand facing responsibilities 
• At least 2-3 years of proven success in PR, media relations or communications 
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates your creativity, writing abilities and the ability to achieve real results 
• An infectious appetite for exceeding expectations 
• A strong and confident personality (without the ego) 
• Strong entrepreneurial tendencies .. willing to go the extra mile 
• The ability to immediately demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
  -Media Relations - Media List building, Release Writing, Pitching
  -Digital / Social Content + Outreach(blogs, influencers + all social channels)
  -Copywriting
  -Project Management
  -Plan Development
  -Deck Creation
