Sales Representative
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

This position is responsible for marketing Acme Corp. event services to current and prospective clients. This individual generates new business by researching, prospecting, and meeting with potential clients. This individual also represents Acme Corp. at networking events.

The candidate that we seek enjoys meeting new people and is not intimidated cold calling. This individual must be proactive and organized in order to efficiently manage their schedule.   

Position Overview:

  •  Contact previous and prospective clients to inquire about upcoming events
  •  Research potential clients and events in the Milwaukee area
  •  Followup on leads provided by the sales manager
  •  Secure meetings in order to present Acme Corp. event services
  •  Qualify leads
  •  Contribute toward moving opportunities through the sales process 
  •  Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients 
  •  Assist with event quotes, proposals, and quote follow-up
  •  Represent Acme Corp. at networking and industry events
  •  Maintain client database 
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, sales, or marketing 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related position 
  • Comfortable cold calling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Proactive and organized 
  • Comfortable meeting with new people
  • Salary based on experience
