What's the role?

The Sales Promotion Lead is responsible for design, development and implementation of key integrated content and promotions. This is in support of planning, products and target markets. This role provides mentorship and leadership on design/delivery of highly effective content and promotion strategies focused on sales growth and improving financial representative productivity. Develop messaging that supports our integrated financial planning approach and aligns with product and market launches, targeted sales campaigns, field promotional events, planning and product sales tools and materials. Ensures rollout campaigns utilize a systematic approach in order to improve messaging impact; serves as Strategic Lead in driving the evolution of planning, product and markets promotional materials to drive compelling messaging that results in high adoption.

  • B.S. /B.A. Degree in business, sales or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in crafting and delivering marketing and promoting products and/or services to distribution systems and/or end users.
  •  Demonstrated success in crafting project strategies and subsequent delivery of tools and tactics to target audiences.
  •  Capability to use research insights and incorporate into strategies.
  • Demonstrated strategic agility through anticipation of future consequences and trends and use of broad knowledge and perspective to build strategies and articulate credible pictures and visions of possibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability and shown success in identifying marketing opportunities to develop creative solutions and implement initiatives with quality and within scope. Ability to use metrics, develop insights and impacts and adjust programs as needed.
  • Extraordinary leadership and project management skills and able to drive projects forward and capable to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate relationships with key partners representing a broad range of functions and levels so as to advance the objectives of the organization.
  • Knowledgeable on how to best use multiple channels of communication and engagement with target audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle budgets to accomplish business objectives.
