Sales & Marketing Intern

This position is involved in the marketing and sales process. It focuses on lead qualification, graphic design, online and social media marketing development and maintenance. This position has the opportunity to help with up to 7 of our businesses all of which are in varying product/categories.

Work directly with Sales Manager and help build brand(s) awareness, increase marketing and sales. Utilize social media posting client stories and brand the product lines in an engaging manner following up with interactions to generate leads, etc. To assist in qualifying leads as we expand our prospect base.

Using telephone, email and social media to communicate offers and initiatives in our company’s retail marketplace

Use CRM tools to facilitate multiple aspects of the sales cycle

Qualify sales leads and help set appointments

Identify prospects’ responses and feedback to gain insights and utilize in our marketing

Create and update social media content

Provide market research and social media insights

Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S. or certificate program in sales, marketing, business or equivalent degree program

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work efficiently as a team and independently

Critical thinking and interpersonal questioning skills

Experience creating social media content desired

Positive, self-driven, and energetic personality

Flexible work hours (between Monday-Friday from 8a-4p)

Office work environment

College credits are optional, at the preference of the intern and university.
