GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provide marketing support for various CSO departments-primarily Development and the Institute. All with the goal of building audiences, increasing retention and developing stronger relationships with patrons.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage print production of materials, including but not limited to invites, flyers, brochures, signage, giveaways…etc. 
  2. Provide marketing support for CSO departments (Women’s Board, the League, Operations, The Negaunee Institute, Public Relations). 
  3. Support promotional efforts of the marketing team. 
  4. Provide administrative support to the marketing team. 
  5. Proofread marketing materials. 
  6. Special projects as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. Reports to Marketing Manager. 
  2. Works closely with members of the marketing, creative design, web, and public relations. 
  3. Other contacts include: CSO departments, vendors, and volunteers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. Formal education (minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience) required. 
  2. Understanding and appreciation of music. 
  3. Experience in desktop publishing, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (MS Office). 
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively time manage. 
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  6. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills. 
  7. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator a plus.
