Under the supervision of the Director, Marketing and Communication, the Project Manager, Marketing Communications is a customer-service driven position that works directly with Department Directors as well as internal customers to manage incoming projects, understand customer needs and maximize customer satisfaction.

  1. Assist customers by facilitating job requests, understanding and documenting project requirements, and managing expectations throughout the process. 
  2. Utilizes marketing and communications knowledge and experience to coordinate the day-to-day workflow within the Marketing Department and works with team members to ensure quality product results on time for clients. 
  3. Evaluate projects, obtain additional information, review/edit/write copy (as needed) and ensure projects have all of the necessaryinformation before moving forward to copy writing, design, etc. Create project design and copy briefs as needed. 
  4. Review and proofread drafts for accuracy, consistency, design and brand compliance. Get necessary reviews / approvals in and outside of department. 
  5. In the absence of the Director of Marketing and Communication, this position will also provide leadership in the Marketing Department.
  1. Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of traffic manager, creative services manager, and/or project/staff management experience management experience. 
  3. Strong project management and problem solving skills. Demonstrated experience managing projects using a project management / team workflow system (i.e. Basecamp, Wrike, Trello) preferred Experience with asset management using an organized internal or 3rd party file management system (i.e. Extensis), desired.

  5. Both Mac and PC operating system experience is a plus. Proficient using Microsoft Office suite.
