In support of the company mission, Director of Product Marketing is responsible for defining and executing the marketing plan for the real estate business unit. Works directly with the VP Product Marketing, Business Unit Leads, Product Management, and Sales Leadership to oversee the planning and execution of revenue generating programs with associated tactics and measurement of results. The employee is expected to adhere to ethics policies and practices as established by OnCourse Learning.

  1. Develop quarterly marketing plans by collaborating with key constituencies and reporting results to stakeholders, including analysis and reporting of all campaigns for effectiveness and ROI 
  2. Manage a team that develops, manages and executes all B2C and B2B demand generation campaigns and associated programs, including: Digital Advertising, Trade Shows & Events, Email Marketing, Webinars, Videos/Podcasts, Direct Mail and Third-Party Promotions 
  3. Work with the Digital team on execution of B2C programs (eCommerce managers and digital marketing managers) 
  4. Create buyer and user personas that define key pain points and messaging to be used in content 
  5. Define market segmentation to drive go to market efforts to specific target audiences and work closely with Sales to ensure that lead generation efforts map to this segmentation and is represented in Salesforce.com 
  6. Build positioning documents for their respective business unit/product launches, including: market trends, product differentiators/proof points, competitive analysis, sales obstacles, persona information and external messaging 
  7. Manage product launches with key constituents: Product Management IT, PR, Business Unit, Sales 
  8. Define and execute sales training along with Product Management for new releases 
  9. Work with VP Product Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit leaders to define and establish SEO keywords for business unit products/offerings for use in all content, including SEO optimization and reporting of SERP results 
  10. Create, maintain and syndicate content for all industries and products within business unit using agreed upon SEO keywords, including the following content: Datasheets, White Papers, eBooks, Catalogs, Website Content, Webinars, Infographics, Blogs, Case Studies, Videos, etc. 
  11. Manage and maintain Product Marketing/Demand Generation budget for business unit to ensure all tactics are met within budget parameters 
  12. Manage 3rd party vendors and contractors
  13. Other duties as assigned
  • BS/BA Degree in Marketing or equivalent; MBA a plus 
  • 7+ years marketing related experience (product marketing, field marketing, digital marketing or marketing communications), with 2-3 years managing a team 
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills 
  • Understanding of buyer and user personas is a must 
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation tools/CRM systems 
  • Experience in eCommerce and/or digital marketing tactics (SEO, PPC, Remarketing) 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade Proven ability to interact with product management, corporate marketing and sales stakeholders 
  • Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and managing multiple projects from start to finish 
  • Proficient in Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
