We are seeking a customer-focused and organized individual with .NET development experience who possesses excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills to join our implementation team. The Product Implementation Specialist plays a key role in driving frictionless customer experience during pre-sale, post-sale (customer onboarding), and retention.

The Product Implementation Specialist is a key conduit between sales, product, and customer teams. In this dynamic role, the Product Implementation Specialist will work in a teaching/consulting capacity to provide ecommerce best practices & business solutions, product training, and support initial setup and configuration (onboarding).

This position is a highly visible role within the organization reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer while working closely with sales & marketing, customers, solutions partners, and product development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-sales meetings with clients to provide consultation for eCommerce and business solutions 
  • Responsible for creating product training material and managing the knowledge base 
  • Responsible for onboarding a new client or partner with the complete initial setup of MRR Soft products 
  • Deliver product training and ongoing education to customers & partners via virtual classroom, webinars, or in person 
  • Provide consultation to clients and partners during implementation (SDLC). 
  • Work with the support team to address customer tickets 
  • Play an active role in building and defining the product roadmap based on interaction with customers and improvements needed (gaps) in the product 
  • Participates in functional specification reviews 
  • Participates in design walkthroughs 
  • Participate in product roadmap and release planning 
  • Active towards process improvement within the product development & support organization

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, computer engineering, electrical engineering, IT, or equivalent required. 
  • 2-4 years product development/consulting experience 
  • Expert level of SDLC and Object Oriented Programming, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Web Services 
  • Must have solid ability to diagram solutions and the ability to articulate/engage with clients on solutions Expert level with Internet standards (e.g. HTTP, XML, SOAP, CSS) and relational database (SQL Server) 
  • Experience in IT infrastructure issues (web and application server setup, load-balancing, firewalls, etc.) and awareness of current technology & industry trends 
  • Strong logical, analytical, and problem solving skills 
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to coordinate major activities Must have excellent writing skills 
  • Must be well organized with multiple tasks occurring on a daily basis 
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable level in presenting before peers and customers 
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% to client sites 

Preferred: Consulting experience with an ecommerce/CMS service provider
