The Paid Search Strategist is responsible for aligning consumer insights with business objectives for execution within their area of expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strategist will serve as the subject matter expert within Paid Search. Contribute to industry discussions, both internal and external, and position Ciceron as a knowledgeable resource within the subject. 
  • Strategist is responsible for the ideation, research and development of channel plans, programs and campaigns. 
  • Strategist is responsible for overseeing or executing channel plans, programs and campaigns, as well as performance monitoring and optimization. 
  • Strategist is responsible for ensuring channel strategies and initiatives align to client’s goals and objectives; and overall performance. 
  • Strategist is responsible for uncovering and expanding opportunities with both clients and prospects. 
  • Strategist may contribute to new business pitches as needed. 
  • Strategist will provide training and guidance to Marketing Specialists as needed. 
  • Strategist is responsible for working with management to develop additional products/services related to their area of focus. Innovation within their practice area. 
  • Strategist is responsible for identifying, vetting and managing vendor relationships.

Skills:

  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other organizations.
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and integration of channels. 
  • Willingness to learn about new tools/services. 
  • Experience delivering communications to senior level executives. 
  • Some experience using analytics to provide client with business intelligence and insights. 
  • Possesses the ability to see the “bigger picture” and recommends projects that align with the client’s business goals to help the client succeed. 
  • Proven record of managing multiple clients, brands or project simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
  • Outstanding communications skills; confident presenter; excellent writer; balanced, creative and critical thinker.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience 
  • 3-5 years’ experience within Paid Search 

Experience with the following is required:

  • Paid Search platforms (AdWords, Bing, etc.) 
  • Google Analytics (or other analytics platforms, such as SiteCatalyst, WebTrends, etc.) 
  • Certified Google Partner and Bing Ads Accredited Professional preferred
