The Motion Designer creates graphics, animation and live video content for a diverse array of media, including the web and television, handheld electronic devices, and smartphones. Additional projects include title and post-production work, multimedia campaigns, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in a variety of materials. The Motion Designer works on a collaborative basis with account and creative staff to achieve client expectations in an efficient and effective manner.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Works with producers and directors to develop and execute concepts for any and all assigned projects requiring motion design 
  • Maintains and follows an organized and standard workflow/process on individual projects

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing as needed 
  • Video Production assistance as needed 
  • Print Design assistance as needed 
  • Maintain knowledge of current motion design trends, software developments and techniques
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Motion Designer in a post-production environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications 
  • Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator 
  • Knowledge and familiarity within a 3D application (Cinema 4D preferred, but not necessary)
  • Video editing skills a plus
