Esker is seeking a B2B Sales Account Executive, focusing on the mid-market, to generate new sales revenue for our customizable business applications in Madison, WI.

Job Responsibilities:

The Mid-Market Sales Account Executive is responsible for all phases of the sales process — from generating new accounts through cold calling and networking to assessing customers' needs and presenting viable solution options to negotiating competently and moving the prospect towards commitment. All sales efforts will be focused on ensuring success through signature of contract. Other responsibilities include:

  • Conducting web-based solution demonstrations based on pre-sales resources
  • Working with the sales team to conceptualize new business development strategies

Ideal Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous phone-based sales experience selling complex solutions or within a complex sales cycle (this is not a transactional sale)
  • Proven track record in closing new business
  • Ideally 1 year of either technical software, financial solution or customer service solution sales experience (SaaS and enterprise software experience is a plus)
  • Degree in business, marketing, MIS, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills
  • Potential for minimal travel Industry

Familiarity:

  • Technology (e.g., cloud, SaaS, fax, mail, imaging, capture, workflow, archiving, etc.)
  • Business processes (e.g., order processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.)
  • Software (e.g., ERP, CRM, EMR, legacy applications, etc.)
