Founded by architect and MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang, Studio Gang is an international architecture and urban design practice based in Chicago and New York. The Studio works as a collective of more than 100 people, employing a design process that foregrounds relationships between individuals, communities, and environments. A sustainability ethos is central to the practice, coupled with a methodology defined by research and experimentation, including collaborations with a wide range of disciplines both inside and outside the traditional design field. Current projects include the expansion of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City; the new United States Embassy in Brasília, Brazil; a unified campus for California College of the Arts in San Francisco; and mixed-use towers in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam.

We’re currently hiring an energetic and proactive full-time Marketing Team Member to support the Studio’s increasingly global work from our Chicago office.

Highly organized and an excellent communicator, the Marketing Team Member will work in close collaboration with fellow marketing and other colleagues to produce responses to RFQs/RFPs/RFIs and new business inquiries as well as custom portfolios. Able to flexibly multitask, their responsibilities will also include researching potential new projects; maintaining project, client, and consultant databases; preparing collateral materials; maintaining the physical and digital marketing archives in collaboration with the Archivist/Librarian; creating graphics for proposals; and supporting the overall marketing, publications, and communications team as needed.

Resourceful and responsible, the Marketing Team Member should be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and contributing to a talented team working in a dynamic, creative environment. They must have a strong interest in architecture and design as well as great graphic design and written communication skills. Professional experience within the design profession is also highly preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, marketing, communications, or equivalent is required. Must exhibit complete command of the Adobe Creative Suite and other means used to communicate architecture across media formats.

Salary commensurate with experience.
