JOB SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for supporting growth and expansion of company products and services while strengthening Lucas-Milhaupt brand globally. Responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring marketing plans, providing direction and advice about how best to reach a target market. Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services and preparing status reports on marketing efforts and their effectiveness.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Researches and generates compelling digital and print content for sales and marketing collateral including brochures, website, blogs, social media, and newsletters. Keeps content current and accurate.
  • Create editorial calendar that aligns with company brand and goals.
  • Review digital content to ensure effective SEO keyword density, evaluate and advocate future direction.
  • Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products. Researches and develops content for publication of products.
  • Manages trade shows and exhibitions to achieve profit goals. Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales. Coordinates design, layout, cost estimates, and construction of exhibits and trade show displays.
  • Research, identify and furnish industry forecasts for our key market segments and applications.
  • Support growth and expansion of Company products and service. This may include development of new leads or market segments through appropriate directory usage, electronic database, telephone contact etc., to support sales activity.
  • Build marketing lists and segment data by industry, channel and geographic region. Develop and implement lead nurturing programs and lead follow-up program.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide sales and marketing with insight and data to support decision making.
  • Perform basic market research activities as necessary. This may include new customer surveys, test marketing of new products. Maintain competitive files, making customer contacts, conducting electronic searches, etc.
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports on the effectiveness of marketing activities and makes recommendations for enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong written skills and attention detailed required.
  • Positive attitude and able to work both independently and with a team
  • Self-motivated, responsive, takes direction well, able to work autonomously, organized and capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical skills (including proficiency of Microsoft Excel and use of pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with data management and analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics, and digital and email marketing platforms.
  • 2-4 years experience
  • Must be willing to travel (15%).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
