There is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, take charge, dependable and highly organized individual to join MPM's Marketing team. The Marketing Media Coordinator is responsible for Social Media, Target and Project Management Marketing for a variety of audiences and the general public. Major responsibilities are to assist with daily marketing activities, contracts, negotiating and placing paid advertising, creating/maintaining audience databases, take public inquiries regarding MPM and project management for marketing events and activities.

  • Oversee Social Media and direct mail efforts.
  • Plans, negotiates and buys media for MPM in general as well as for our traveling and limited term exhibits.
  • Plans and implements content, design and distribution of printed materials for MPM.
  • Makes budget recommendations and monitors the outcomes of our media purchases.
  • Project Management skills are essential to this role as you will be tracking the museum events calendar, directing placement of web information, monitoring and analyzing its usage. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications along with 2 to 3 years of media purchasing experience in the Milwaukee Market preferred.
  • Experience with a Non-Profit Organization is a plus.
  • Must be able to take technical content from our curators and create motivating social media posts that excite a wide range of audiences to come for a visit and/or participate in our public programming.
