We’re looking to add an energetic, driven marketer who’s ready to grab our sales funnel by the reigns and manage our lead generation efforts. As the marketing manager, you’ll be in charge of creating and addressing our target personas, developing marketing campaigns, working with others in the organization to get tasks done and ensuring our marketing goals are being met. The marketing manager is responsible for attracting website traffic, converting that traffic into leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to close into customers, the latter of which the Omni sales team will help accomplish. This person will serve as the critical link between sales and marketing at Omni.
The marketing manager will be the primary evangelist of HubSpot at Omni and will practice the core tenets of inbound marketing.To make Omni’s content efforts visible online, the marketing manager will understand the intricacies of effective SEO (defined keywords, meta data, link-building strategies, etc.), along with paid search and social media advertising opportunities. This person will be responsible for managing Omni’s on- and off-page SEO, implementing PPC campaigns and staying up-to-date on the latest search engine algorithm updates and news.
The marketing manager interfaces with various people in the company to move marketing initiatives forward. This includes meeting with internal subject matter experts to gather blog post content, the management team for marketing planning and strategy sessions, and various other team members to gather ideas for social media posts and press releases. In addition, this person works closely with design, copywriting, video and print vendors.
The marketing manager will be creative, flexible, dedicated and able to meet aggressive deadlines. The person in this role should have strong copywriting and editing skills, be able to create Omni’s buyer personas and be adept at planning workflows. The person in this role will need to understand Omni’s culture and brand, be deadline-driven and have the personality necessary to keep everyone on task and on time. He or she should understand marketing strategy and the use of analytics to measure and optimize performance. He or she will also be familiar with technical topics such as internet of things, big data, business intelligence, software development and business process automation.
