GKIC, one of the largest communities of entrepreneurs in the world is looking to enhance our marketing team. We are looking to add a Marketing Manager responsible for delivering our marketing goals through effectively managing marketing, branding and creative for all channels, PR, events, social and all content.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners closely with Leadership and sales to strategize initiatives to attain all financial metrics and profitability goals. 
  • Develop and execute strategies for the company's several channels to market, to include positioning and messaging that aligns with our product and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Balances branding and ROI-generating activities. Implements opportunities that will profitably grow the business/generate incremental revenue while enhancing brand positioning. 
  • Grow a quality member base through the development and implementation of acquisition, retention and loyalty programs. 
  • Leverage digital capabilities to contribute to building brand awareness, equity, and preference for our products and solutions. 
  • Leverage the entire spectrum of digital tools and programs (Lead Buy, PPC, SEO, Display, E-Mail Marketing, SMS, Retargeting, Social, etc.) to identify and engage prospective members, driving them into key business channels and creating an online (desktop, tablet and mobile) customer experience, driving lead conversion. 
  • Implement member contact and interaction strategies to drive demand for our products through digital, social, and traditional marketing. 
  • Ensures a consistent member experience across all marketing touch points. 
  • Establish relationships and partnerships with a variety of external experts, strategic business partners, and service providers. Develop and maintain key Agency relationships. 
  • Support the sales and product teams with marketing materials. 
  • Market our capabilities and successes to our internal teams and partners. 
  • Operates with a test and learn entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Organizational leadership – foster growth from internal employees, process development, and lead from a position of knowledge, expertise and influence.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of marketing, brand or business development management experience 
  • 2+ years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience 
  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM, Google PLA and PPC analytics 
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, Infusionsoft preferably. 
  • An ability to drive ideas to completion in a leadership role 
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential 
  • A college degree is required; relevant advanced education a plus
  • Salary commensurate with experience. 
  • Located near O’Hare Airport, steps away from the blue line. 
  • Relocation is not available, Chicago-land candidates only.
