Milwaukee’s Grammy Award-winning Florentine Opera Company seeks a goal-oriented marketing professional to promote our world-class brand to grow engagement and earned revenue. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning and analytic abilities along with written, verbal and graphic design skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership in strengthening brand visibility and engagement
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to meet and exceed subscription and single ticket sales goals
  • Develop and design collateral materials, both marketing specific and for the company
  • Oversee all ad buys and promotions
  • Maintain and curate the website
  • Deploy an active electronic & social media footprint
  • Serve as liaison to the media
  • Manage vendors and freelance designers as appropriate
  • Develop and grow strategic partnerships
  • Manage and work within budgets
  • Analyze and report results
  • Work with the Board Marketing Committee
  • Manage marketing and patron databases
  • Supervise marketing interns and volunteers
  • Plan events to engage stakeholders in the organization and the artform
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree is required along with 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite along with knowledge of databases, e-marketing tools such as MailChimp or Constant Contact, and MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to timeline/deadline.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of organizational stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, board members and community leaders.
  • Photography and/or videography skills a plus.
  • An interest and passion for serving the non-profit arts and creative sector.
