Position Summary:

As Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility is to create direct marketing campaigns that drive sales and engagement among members, prospects, stakeholders, and employees. Your secondary responsibility is to assist in the planning and execution of customer conferences, meetings, webinars, and other corporate events. You collaborate with your marketing strategy and events colleagues, the communications department, team members form sales and business development, and other departments across the Bank to conceive, plan, and produce effective direct marketing campaigns and events. Some regional travel required (20-30 percent).

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Creates marketing campaign content, both in digital and print formats, promoting the products and services of the Bank. Determines the distribution channels for marketing campaign content. 
  • Analyzes effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communicates results to sales team and executive management; success indicators include new business generated from campaigns and customer engagement 
  • Responsible for coordination of marketing message; also creation and execution of marketing themes 
  • Collaborate with the communications department on branding efforts for certain customer and corporate communications, focusing on ease of use 
  • Collaborate with the member strategy and solutions team on marketing content for sales director pitch books, website content, and other sales collateral; collaborate with the events team on materials for trade association events 
  • Collaborate with the communications department on html email marketing campaigns and creating digital content for the Bank’s websites and social media channels 
  • Analyze marketing metrics to measure results and drive strategic recommendations 
  • Manages and keeps up-to-date customer-facing policies and documents 
  • Assists the Events team with customer-facing conferences and corporate events. Secondary responsibilities may include: selecting vendors, performing site visits, confirming and managing event logistics, publicizing events, and analyzing and reporting on registration and attendee activity. 
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications 
  • 5-7 years of professional marketing experience required and a minimum of 3 years of this experience within the financial services industry, managing marketing initiatives 
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications and experience using an html email marketing system 
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-motivated and proactive 
  • Ability to complete assignments on time and within budget 
  • Must be able to effectively interact and maintain relationships with Bank staff and members at all levels, including senior management and the Bank’s board of directors 
  • Self-starter, equally adept at working independently and as a member of a team 
  • Strong customer/client orientation 
  • Must take pride in work and results 
  • Experience with Cvent event management system is a plus
