We are seeking a motived, disciplined, diligent Marketing/Graphics Director to join our team.  You will be working with our variety of companies we own or manage related to all aspects of our marketing, new product launchs, new acquistions, digitial campaigns and much more.

A local business with diversified brands focused on hospitality and financial servicesis currently searching for candidates to fill our Marketing/Graphics Director position. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for elevating our various brand, both internally and externally through strategic marketing strategy and tactics that ultimately build the brand and increase profitability. The Marketing Director partners with the leadership team as well as with our clients to drive awareness of our brand and our impact on target markets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to work in a with a fun and fast-growing local investment company.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, implement and execute innovative marketing strategies for all brands and grow the brands in Milwaukee and regionally.
  • Utilize strategic partnerships, campaigns, social media, sponsorships, and events to build brand awareness.
  • Support the various revenue teams with all positioning and messaging through all communication channels and activities.
  • Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
  • Oversee our website content, leading any major site updates, maintaining the site, refreshing with compelling content and finding ways to drive more traffic/engagement.
  • Oversee social media strategy and activities such as develop content and create, curate, schedule and publish content for our social channels that is in line with our social strategy, conveys our expertise and perspective and is consistent with our brand voice.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends for our industries and ensure that our messaging communicates our advantages and points of differentiation and identify unmet needs in the market.
  • Create a reporting structure for all marketing efforts to ensure tactics are driving the right results and our overall marketing strategy is being executed.
  • Responsible to develop, present and manage the annual marketing budget for the company.

Skills

  • Must be a strategic thinker, team player and self-motivated individual who can offer proactive recommendations.
  • Vast Graphics Design Experience, including website production
  • SEO and Good Adwords experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, ability to write for varied audiences and channels.
  • Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects.Visual thinker who can provide design input for organizational collateral and social/digital platforms.Proven working knowledge of branding, public relations and advertising.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans, including facets such as brand positioning, advertising, media planning, and promotional strategies.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Master knowledge Adobe and other graphics programs
  • WordPress
  • 3-5 years experience in a marketing position.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media.Proficient in computer software programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Preferred Education and Experience includes previous experience managing a team. Master's degree in marketing, public relations, or related field.
