Do you welcome the thought of handling diverse activities throughout the week while balancing the priorities of deadlines? Do you want to learn more about the marketing and business development functions within a firm?

Power is looking for a collaborative, self-motivated Marketing Coordinator interested in becoming part of our dynamic Marketing team. This role will focus on the proposal process completing qualifications documents, proposals, presentations and business development collateral, among other department functions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Support the RFQ/RFP response process through follow up communications, production of materials, delivery preparation, and clean-up process to “file” information for future efficiency. 
  • Create high-quality, custom marketing materials as requested (project sheets, brochures, staff resumes, presentations, employee and reference lists). 
  • Participate in department meetings and offer innovative ideas toward continuous improvement. 
  • Assist with content updates to Power web site, intranet, and social media. 
  • Gather project information through site visits and communication with field staff. 
  • Other department projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the A/E/C industry. 
  • Degree in related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Writing, etc.). 
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. 
  • Personal focus on high-quality work a must. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent proofreading skills. 
  • Understanding of In-Design, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. Other Adobe Creative Suite and CRM software a plus. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment, effectively multitasking and adjusting to daily changes in priorities. 
  • Willingness to be flexible and “go the extra mile” when deadlines require. 
  • Track record of success working in a team environment at different levels within the organization, balancing the need for tact and persistence.
