We have an exciting opportunity in our Employee Support Solutions line of business (LOB) on the Marketing and Product Team as a Marketing Coordinator (GraphicDesign). The position will allow you to apply your graphic design expertise and experience coordinating and creating promotional and how-to videos. These materials will help our business grow in new markets and in turn, help more people access our industry-leading health, wellness, and training services.

Reporting to the Manager, ESS Marketing and Communication, the Marketing Coordinator’s responsibilities include:

Role Requirements:

  • Ensure the timely production and delivery of materials and communications that support business development initiatives and customer growth objectives 
  • Provide graphic design and customization for sales and customer materials including: fact sheets, handouts, flyers, journal ads and miscellaneous projects 
  • Brand management to ensure internal and external collateral are brand compliant 
  • Provide administrative and creative support for promotional and communication projects, as well as product launches 
  • Manage external vendor relationships with printers, and production companies and agencies (as needed)

Succeeding as a Marketing Coordinator will require the following core qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor Degree related to Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications 
  • Graduate certificate in graphic design an asset 
  • 3-5 years of directly related work experience in marketing role 
  • Fully competent in Adobe Creative Suite programs (ex: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as video production and Microsoft Office programs 
  • Experiencing creating storyboards for corporate videos and working with either an animator and post-production video professionals 
  • The ability to manage multiple and competing priorities through effective organizational, people and time management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing 
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to think creatively, to offer new ideas and to challenge status quo 
  • Global experience and/or understanding of cultures an asset 
  • Advertising agency experience is an asset 
  • Demonstrated skill in coordinating production or project management experience 
  • Understands the organizational goals and values, and demonstrates ambitions to help bring those goals to life 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing needs, project budgets and expectations 
  • A working knowledge of various types of media, including effective web design and video production 
  • Negotiating for goods and services and managing designers, printers, promotional marketers, and related service providers 
  • Bringing new, creative ideas, energy and approaches to support the work of the creative team 
  • Organizational abilities in a multi-task environment with coordinated deadlines and goals 
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment with both on-site and remote team members 
  • Unwavering attention to deadlines and detail
