Tripp Lite’s Marketing Communications (MarCom) team is seeking a Marketing Communications Project Manager to direct the creation of print and digital marketing/advertising content at all stages of development. This includes helping to define project scope, scheduling, providing direction to creative staff and ensuring on-time delivery to clients. The selected candidate will manage a wide range of collateral, including flyers, posters, brochures, press releases, direct mail, web pages, web banners, email blasts, videos and sales presentations. The Project Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between a variety of internal clients and stakeholders (marketing specialists, product managers and sales managers) and the MarCom creative staff (copywriters, graphic designers and web team) 
  • Review projects for clarity and completeness before assignment to creative staff 
  • Direct content development by providing editorial and creative direction as needed 
  • Plan projects to meet time, cost and quality goals 
  • Guide projects through all stages of the production process, including purchasing (print, translation, promotional items, etc.) 
  • Ensure collateral meets marketing best practices and department quality standards 
  • Track projects and generate reports using project management software 
  • Additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a communications specialist, creative project manager or equivalent position in a Marketing environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field 
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling and reporting 
  • Proven track record of highly effective verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a friendly, fast-paced environment
