benefitexpress currently has an opening for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The Marketing Communications Manager with work with a cross-functional group of marketing peers, product and sales team members. The Marketing Communications Manager is charged with developing multi-channel marketing campaign content that helps build the company's brand awareness among key targets, create demand and accelerate growth, and ultimately accelerate the sales cycle for our portfolio of benefits administration and technology solutions.

What you will do:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the HR, Health and Retirement Administration practices to provide strategic and tactical marketing support to business practice and sales teams 
  • Lead and support marketing team activities that increase brand awareness, tell the holistic brand story, generate leads and accelerate sales cycles 
  • Manage external relationships including marketing content, public relations and agency partners 
  • Manage campaign and event planning, priority and project management, and results tracking 
  • Manage the sales enablement content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need

What you will need:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a marketing role in either a corporate or agency environment, ideally with knowledge and experience in Benefits, HR, Health and / or Retirement Administration Services 
  • College degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business or other related fields 
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing strategic and tactical marketing programs 
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems (Marketo/HubSpot/Eloqua), website content management programs, and Salesforce.com is a plus. 
  • B2B marketing experience required; SaaS marketing experience a plus and advertising/marketing agency experience preferred
