Position Summary:

Responsible for planning and executing all logistics for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. Manage FHLBank Chicago presence at trade association events in coordination with other departments. Also responsible for execution of FHLBank Chicago marketing plan by coordinating content and co-creating collateral.

Duties:

  • Responsibility for end-to-end event planning/coordination for conferences, client dinners, and corporate events. 
  • Events includes FHLBank Chicago conferences and regional meetings, trade association events, FHLBC corporate events, product education and other forums, and webinars 
  • Establish relationships with industry professionals to source and maintain a list of potential conference speakers 
  • Responsibility for co-creation, conceptualization, and implementation of sales and marketing campaigns, working closely with sales and solutions team and the Communications Department 
  • Position requires occasional travel to support out-of-town client events and conferences 
  • Other Members and Markets projects as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in event planning/coordination or marketing required. 
  • Experience in banking/marketing in a financial institution preferred. 
  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • MS Office (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required; Access strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working with Cvent registration software preferred.
