Apexx Group with a B2B sales and marketing consulting firm, working with a range of clients that span multiple industries including Fortune 1000 companies, small local non-profits and everything in between.  

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, professional individual to join our fast-paced, energetic team as an IT and Web Development Intern (with path to permanent full-time for the right candidate) to directly support our creative team with web development as well as hardware/software needs, database development/maintenance and ad hoc day-to-day projects. Great experience working with different clients across different industries.  

THIS IS NOT EXCLUSIVELY A WEB DESIGN POSITION.

Preferred candidate qualifications:

  • Currently actively pursuing an advanced degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree) in MIS, Information Technologies, Web Development  ~ OR ~ must have equivalent experience in a technology-related field 
  • Completion of a database class or extracurricular database experience preferred 
  • Experience with designing, developing and modifying databases 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong independent problem solving skills 
  • High mission to serve 
  • Previous work experience, preferably in a technology-related role 
  • Strong team focus and high level of initiative 
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML Required 
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript preferred

Apexx Group, LLC offers $12-$13 per hour and a flexible work environment for our interns. Interns must complete a minimum of 20 work hours per week and hours can be scheduled Monday – Friday between 7AM – 5PM. College credits are optional, at the discretion of the intern and university. Note that this internship could lead to a full-time position for the right candidate.
