The Information Architect position at Carmichael Lynch requires a hands-on, team player, who is self-motivated, good with tight deadlines, detail oriented and able to work as part of the interactive team. The major responsibilities of this position involve creating information architecture documents enabling an internal or external team to deliver the highest quality interactive work.

It is critical that the Information Architect/Business Analyst be able to visually communicate concepts and execution strategies to other team members and clients.

In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a closely-related field.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-4 years experience in interactive marketing/web design required (automotive website experience, or related property, a plus).
  • Prototyping skills with tools such as Invision are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Be a key team member and participate in the continued evolution and improvement of the interaction design process.
  • Experience working multiple large development projects at one time.
