Reports to: Digital Team Lead

Position will design and manage print and digital projects that are visually compelling, effectively communicate core messages, and adhere to brand and identity standards. Position will work on a broad variety of projects within a collaborative team environment. The position is full-time, and salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.

GRAPHIC DESIGN:

  • Generate creative ideas for the visual implementation of print and digital communications 
  • Produce draft designs and mockups for multiple communications channels 
  • Prepare final production-ready designs for appropriate communications channels 
  • Attend press checks on managed print projects 
  • Coordinate and/or conduct photography/videography for clients and the agency as needed 
  • Provide graphics support to social media initiatives, media relations initiatives, special events and other strategic initiatives as appropriate 
  • Provide digital team support as needed 
  • Stay abreast of trends in the graphic design field 
  • Edit and color correct photos 
  • Follow brand standards for the agency and each of its clients 
  • Meet all deadlines within the budget constraints (time and dollars) provided

CLIENT SUPPORT:

  • Provide proofing support as needed 
  • Work with client team leads to ensure clients are effectively served from the graphic design perspective 
  • Attend client meetings as appropriate 
  • Participate in client brainstorming sessions 
  • Generate project specs and request production cost estimates from vendors 
  • Coordinate production and delivery with a pool of vendors serving Neuger Communications Group

AGENCY SUPPORT:

  • Participate in staff meetings/team meetings/ad hoc meetings to ensure the firm is run as effectively as possible 
  • Participate in, plan and coordinate where appropriate, agency events that are designed to heighten the visibility and reputation of the firm or enhance team building 
  • Serve as an agency champion for continuous quality improvement 
  • Provide sales proposal and presentation support 
  • Track time by the quarter-hour in the NCG project management system 
  • Vigorously pursue the agency core values of integrity, excellence and success 
  • Provide ongoing marketing support for NCG and Engage 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign 
  • Functional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat 
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience in other Adobe Creative Cloud programs beneficial but not required 
  • Experience in related fields of photography, videography, illustration or web design/development beneficial but not required
