The Graphic Design & Communications Specialist will serve as a point contact and coordinate the day to day activities in the marketing department of a top 100 US insurance agency. The role will support the Marketing Director in a diverse and growing new position. This role will have the opportunity for continued career development for an ambitious and talented candidate demonstrating on-going success. Graphic design and writing experience are essential for this creative minded professional.

  • Design innovative print and digital marketing/sales materials
  • Write unique and compelling content to position company as an industry leader
  • Coordinate organizational branding initiatives and ensure consistent brand use
  • Develop, concept, write, shoot and edit videos
  • Help administrator the companies contact database, Applied Epic
  • Assume lead on assigned department and company communications projects
  • Manage social media including company website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube
  • Write, layout and send email campaigns
  • Coordinate monthly Blog content with department leaders and producers
  • Develop and maintain print and digital marketing resource library
  • Review and assess vendor opportunities
  • Manage marketing strategies for personal lines departments
  • Assist agents with tradeshows
  • Research leading marketing technology
  • Administrative support for the Director
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills including InDesign and Photoshop
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional office environment
  • Presentation development and 2+ years professional PowerPoint experience
  • Excellent grammar, spelling and writing skills
  • Self-driven with an ability to work independently while engaging in a team approach
    B2B and B2C marketing and sales experience
  • Advanced technology skills with an interest in new software
  • People orientated with a positive can-do attitude
  • Interest in making a big organizational impact
  • Degree In marketing/graphic design/related field or 5+ years relevant and proven experience
  • Strong attention to detail
