Job Function and Scope:

Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, the E-commerce Marketing Specialist will assist in enhancing the company’s online presence. This includes facilitating the support and execution of all e-commerce related activities including, but not limited to, website traffic & updates, promotional emails, and data analytics. Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of e-commerce trends and practices including delivery systems, channels, and communications.
  • Coordination and implementation of all e-commerce projects & efforts including timely progress reports and evaluation.
  • Google Analytics tracking and reporting
  • Paid Search & SEO for e-commerce brand development
  • Execution of email marketing campaigns

Email:

  • Email automation
  • Email list expansion support
  • Builds email schedule in conjunction with marketing team
  • Assembles emails from content provided
  • Tests, analyzes, and reports on email activities.

Website/CMS:

  • Maintenance, functionality and effectiveness of website content and features 
  • Support the user experience including site navigation and content development.
  • Execute online marketing campaigns for web content in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner
  • Cross functional departmental work on web-related issues.
  • Product Set Up & Structure; Assist in the online development of new products and services and continued innovation of current offerings
  • Makes basic updates to copy and photos within existing CMS structure.
  • Pulls monthly reports from website and uses Google Analytics to pull specific data to create weekly and monthly reports. (Requires only basic understanding of the tool)
  • Work with web developer for trainings or troubleshooting

Social Media& Blogger/Affiliate liaison:

  • Collaborates with Digital Marketing Specialist on consistency of company presence and brand across social media platforms and ensure affiliates have necessary marketing assets.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Digital Marketing is required. Will consider recent graduates with some experience or education in digital marketing fields
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing or related field
  • Ability to do photography and short videos a bonus.

Skills:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn at a fast pace
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of social media and able to film video/take photos
