Position Overview:

This role is responsible for day-to-day consulting on web site operations, metrics, user experience and content marketing plans (paid, organic) in support of various General Mills internal and international brands digital marketing efforts. Key deliverables include increasing the reach, frequency and engagement of the GMI brand web sites by helping teams to understand site analytics, organic/paid traffic opportunities and overall site content and digital campaign optimization. Cost to Serve, Annual Visits, New Visits, Repeat Visits, Site Engagement and Organic Traffic are all key management metrics for this position.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the performance, quality, and evolution of end to end consumer experiences delivered on websites inclusive of search, site navigation, related content, etc. 
  • Identify, share and apply industry marketing and user experience best practices via strong external focus. 
  • Manage budgets and invoicing and serve as liaison for finance department. 
  • Identify, share and apply industry marketing best practices via strong external focus.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in business, marketing or communications and a strong interest in Interactive Marketing 
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects, with 3-5 years of digital or marketing experience required 
  • Experience in creating and executing Digital ecosystem strategy 
  • Prior experience in creating social media strategies 
  • Thorough understanding of SEO and SEM 
  • Experience in IA and UX 
  • Working knowledge/understanding of modern programming 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit exceptional organization, project management and communication skills
