Digital Sr. Business Analyst

Purpose:

The Digital Sr. Business Analyst position works as a liaison among business operations, technology groups, clients, business partners, vendors, and enterprise project management office to understand, analyze, and facilitate business needs, requirements, and impacts of business changes as a result of strategic initiatives, operational changes, compliance requirements, client needs, and technology or operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan the overall business analysis approach & activities for project workstreams 
• Understand business needs, support the solutions development process and drive the requirements and business supported project activities. 
• Support change management activities by partnering cross functionally by conducting stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, and communication/training needs 
• Assess capability gaps, determine solution options and approach, and define solution scope 
• Design and deliver high-quality functionality and content needs for a member facing website by collaborating cross functionally 
• Utilize metrics to optimize functionality/content on the site to achieve a more usable, effective and compliant experience. 
• Research, recommend and implement website best practices to improve processes and tools 
• Develop content standards and determine approach to implement 
• Author/edit and/or participate in content cleanup efforts as needed 
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience 
• 5 years related work experience in business analysis

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in client relationship management 
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large complex projects or varying project types 
• Demonstrated experience in eliciting requirements using a variety of techniques 
• Demonstrated experience in specifying and modeling requirements and in facilitating business process improvements 
• Deep knowledge of business analysis tasks, activities, techniques, and requirements process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of the selected Business Analysis certification 
• Advanced understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) 
• Experience with the management of digital content
