A successful Digital Media Manager will provide strategic planning and direction across all facets of digital media. This is a technical position, requiring expertise within the platforms of Google AdWords (search, display, and YouTube), Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, and Pinterest Ads Manager. He or she will take the lead recommending and clearly communicating strategic media solutions for client business/media objectives.
- Accountable for all phases of digital campaignsincluding research, development and writing of plans, presenting, negotiating,buying, optimizing, tracking and reporting
- Hands-on campaign management, including campaign design and build, actual ad assembly, and QA testing of ads in the platforms outlined previously
- Analyze and report campaign performance and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Research, track and interpret emerging media trends and how they relate to our clients
- Work with other members of the media department to develop multi-platform campaigns
- Train and oversee other members of the department in carrying out the different functions of digital campaigns as noted above
- Work with other departments to ensure media efforts are well-integrated with clients’ overall objectives
- Gain client trust and respect; building strong client relationships
- Organize and keep specs up-to-date
- Work to maximize department efficiency/effectiveness
- Participate in new business efforts
- Manage deadlines and work in an efficient manner
