Position Overview:

The Digital Designer will join a team that works across a wide variety of brands, touching more than 60 countries across the world. This role requires a deep understanding of industry best practices, digital design trends, social media best practices and experience designing for CMS and front end framework controlled sites. We also create videos, social assets and tackle creative projects from all corners of the company. You must be a digital native, designing for the message and working with the best medium for the job…which might just be all of them. We love what we do, and where we get to do it. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with project managers and developers to review creative brief and align on base guidelines for our design and build on a per project basis 
  • Design various concepts to meet the client and user needs for each project, align with the Creative Director on concept direction and details 
  • Align with technical team members to deliver creative that is impressive but also fully functional and deliverable 
  • Present creative concepts to clients in a professional and positive manner, explaining how we have addressed their request, met their needs and exceeded their expectations 
  • Incorporate feedback and prep files for delivery and development to meet industry setting standards 
  • Work with our video partners to storyboard and concept visual elements for short form videos, incorporating brand standards and delivery platform best practices 
  • Maintain clean and professional files and structures on all projects so future enhancements are set up for success 
  • Contribute to our team operating best practices and workflow so we can work smarter and produce even stronger work 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, both design and technical.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design/Digital design or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of experience on multiple digital touchpoints from web to social to video 
  • Expertise with professional design and prototyping tools, required software are Sketch, Invision and the Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • A true digital professional, which means not only creative but efficient and organized with impeccable file structure. And you nerdily take pride in that fact, just like we do. 
  • Digital native who feels comfortable working on a variety of delivery formats 
  • Solid understanding of digital strategy, why we use different assets for different mediums at different times 
  • Comfortable designing within the constraints of a front end framework and industry standard CMSs 
  • Ability to self manage a workload, prioritizing tasks with projects and meeting deadlines 
  • Portfolio of work showcasing clean, contemporary work that demonstrates not only an understanding of technical requirements but also modern design trends. 
  • Ability to sketch ideas quickly and communicate ideas visually, from storyboards for a video to rough layouts for a website 
  • Strong communicator, client facing communication with brand leaders in our building and with our dynamic team of designers, strategists and developers
