With international headquarters in Milwaukee’s downtown Historic Third Ward, Telling the Truth is an on-air and online media ministry that distributes the teaching content of three uniquely-gifted communicators – Pete Briscoe and his parents Stuart and Jill Briscoe – helping people know Christ and experience Life in all its fullness. The Briscoes’ teaching also reaches hundreds of thousands of online listeners, viewers, and readers through several websites and apps, social media, and daily email devotionals.

The Digital Communications Coordinator will assist in the coordination and execution of projects directly related to the communication strategy for the ministry, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of projects. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, we’re looking for a self-starter who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people across the world. In a mission-driven environment your talents, skills, creativity, and gifting will have a direct impact on moving the ministry forward. This full-time, onsite position is based out of our Milwaukee office.  

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and execute tasks across various communication channels such as websites, mobile apps, and email campaigns while working with content management systems, writing copy, selecting graphics, streaming live video, engaging with followers, analyzing use, and creating reports 
  • Work with the communications team to integrate content across all internal and external communication channels 
  • Write copy and proofread, as needed 
  • Assist in curating teaching content 
  • Assist in event planning, promotion and execution 
  • Participate in meetings with digital partners and vendors, as needed 
  • Minimal weekend work and travel is possible
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience 
  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion to share Bible teaching with the world 
  • Prior experience with content management systems and basic HTML helpful 
  • Prior writing or copywriting experience helpful 
  • Ability to quickly learn and embrace new technology
