Design Studio Intern

Bluespire is looking for a design intern who is at the start of their career, are innately curious and willing to learn from experienced designers on our team. You will be working with a team of art directors, designers, developers, writers, strategists and account managers who are just as passionate as you are about creating beautiful and effective work for our clients.

Your Role:

• Create high quality, compelling materials for a variety of clients 
• Participate in project teams from concept through production 
• Generate unique creative and visual solutions that achieve our clients goals 
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure designs are on-brand and in line with agency expectation 
• Embrace challenges and new methods of thinking 
• Incorporate feedback with ease and grace, while also being able to articulate your design decisions and choices 
• Continuously improve design skills and knowledge 
• Prioritize and adapt to client needs or shifts in daily workload

Creative:

• Support creating of a range of creative elements: website design, publication layouts, print collateral, infographics, youth games, visual support for PPT decks, and photography selection

Digital Messaging:

• Populate email templates and web pages with content 
• Assist in testing and compiling reports for email marketing campaigns 
• Support other HTML content production processes

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) and Microsoft software 
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or currently working toward one. 
• Some experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus. 
• A portfolio that showcases great print and digital ideas 
• Creative problem-solver 
• Self-starter with a great work ethic 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Great communication skills

We offer a flexible schedule. Internship is paid.
