The Creative and Communications manager is responsible for managing and executing the Kolbe brand strategy and marketing communications plan. Additionally, the development and execution of corporate media and creative strategy including advertising, social networking, creative design template, public relations, lead management, trade shows, literature, website and customer programs in supporting the promotion of the Kolbe brand and its products to effectively reach target markets.

  • Oversee Kolbe brand, its image, message and position in the market(s) with consistent communications and design within all mediums.
  • Manage advertising plan including print, digital and social.
  • Maintain brand identity guidelines to ensure all brand strategies meet objectives.
  • Coordinate public relations activities. Understand and maintain current media contacts, and develop new; prepare press releases and identify the most effective sources for distribution.
  • Maintain advertising budget and supervise leads program.
  • Provide design direction for tradeshows and showrooms.
  • Manage and acquire project photography.
  • Provide marketing support tools for our customers.
  • Continually look for new ways and ideas to enforce the Kolbe brand with the target audience, including investigation of new and emerging software and technologies.
  • Develop and motivate a cross functional team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations or other related field.
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership role.
  • Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Graphic Design experience
  • Building Products Industry experience preferred
  • Experience working/negotiating with vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed
